This paper describes the District of Logan Lake's planning process to update the community's Official Community Plan and its Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw. The paper deals primarily with the issues and challenges faced by the Administrator during the first phase of the planning process and displays some of the innovative planning concepts which were developed in order to meet the objectives of both the municipality and, most importantly, the general community.
