ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Métis Family Connections and Childcare Coordinator objective is to empower Métis families and early learning professionals by connecting them with cultural resources, early years services, and childcare updates.

This position supports the delivery of comprehensive services across the province by providing information on an array of resources and supporting families and early learning professionals through complex systems. This position documents barriers to accessing early years programs and services and by assessing families' and early learning professionals’ needs, they assist and advise on short- or long-term challenges. This position works to increase the availability and accessibility of high-quality childcare resources and services that support the needs of Métis children and families.

This position facilitates vital connections within the community, fostering opportunities for networking by hosting and supporting various events and workshops aimed at enhancing connectedness and cultural knowledge.
