Short Description:
The City of Surrey is committed to developing new and innovative ways to engage with our citizens.   With this objective in mind, two mobile phone apps have been created. Surrey Request (SR) app provides a convenient way for citizens to submit service requests (pothole repair, graffiti removal, etc.) to City Staff using their smart phones.  Users can select problem categories and types, attach pictures and pinpoint problem locations.  Information submitted is automatically added to the City’s corporate work order management system and directed to the appropriate department for processing.   The second app is called MySurrey.  This application provides a one-stop-shop of all City of Surrey mobile phone applications in one convenient place.  Citizens only need to download and install the MySurrey app to have access to all the phone apps the City offers including City Events, City Job Listings, City News, Parking, Cycling, Garbage and Recycling, Surrey Request and more.
