Abstract:
The Town of Gibsons, a coastal community of 4,600 people on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, was North America’s first community to experiment with strategies to integrate natural assets into asset management and financial planning. This report documents the approach taken in an effort to raise awareness and understanding of asset management and the role of eco-assets within Gibsons and beyond.
