Maintenance Worker II – Term
The District is seeking a Maintenance Worker II for a term position for an estimated six months. The ideal individual will be in good physical condition and enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a variety of heavy skilled and unskilled work in the operation and maintenance of the District’s road and utility infrastructure, including snow removal, and must be:
- Trained in the safe operation and maintenance of small power equipment;
- Trained in traffic control, or have the willingness and ability to be trained;
- First Aid Certified or have the willingness and ability to be trained;
- Hold a Class 3 BC Driver’s Licence with an Air Endorsement and a clean Driver’s Abstract.

This is a regular full-time term union (CUPE 1136) position, and the rate of pay is $32.25/hr., plus 15% in lieu of all statutory holidays, annual vacations, Health and Welfare benefits, premiums and paid leaves.
