We are actively seeking an experienced Soccer Instructor for this year’s spring and summer season beginning on April 8 and running until September 23.  This position is responsible for teaching at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West. Duties include creating lesson plans for adult (17+ years of age) classes. Our soccer program is geared towards beginners who want to learn the basic skills and rules of soccer in a fun and friendly environment. The City will provide soccer balls, class lists, a First Aid kit, and teaching aids. Safety checks of the fields prior to lessons are mandatory. Classes operate rain or shine. Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills are required.

Preference will be given to candidates that are BC Soccer/Soccer Canada Certified and who possess a minimum Level 1 certificate along with First Aid Level 1 certification. 

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

Location: Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West

Schedule: Lessons are scheduled on Monday’s from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
