ABOUT YOU 
You are an energetic and highly-motivated individual who is available to instruct and coach our Masters Swim Program. You actively coach, provide different and varying work outs, and provide feedback and stroke correction to participants, as needed. You are a team player who is committed to community. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs, and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people and instructing in a safe and friendly manner. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 
The ideal Masters Swim Instructor/Coach candidate will have a minimum NCCP Swimming 101 Coaching Certification, a current Emergency First Aid & CPR-C Certification, and Standard First Aid is preferred.  
 
Hours vary and instructors should be prepared to work days, evenings and/or weekends at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. Shifts for this role are mainly early mornings from Monday to Friday. 
 
All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment. 
 
HOURLY RATE: $32.64 per hour
