SCOPE
The City of Surrey’s Recreation Division aims to build healthy communities where all people are active and engaged for life. As part of that commitment, we’re looking for program instructors to lead First Aid classes.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Non-union Instructor – Auxiliary
RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently instruct First Aid courses and any related re-certification courses. You will be teaching youth and adults in various City facilities and be:
- Sharing your knowledge and passion about First Aid.
- Providing an engaging and active learning environment for your students.
- Providing great customer service to all patrons in our city facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. They must be able to work evenings and/or weekends and teach classes in a variety of City of Surrey facilities.
Candidates must hold at least one of the following awards and must be current at the time of hire.
- Lifesaving Society First Aid Instructor
- Red Cross First Aid Instructor
OTHER INFORMATION
Hourly Rate: $ 26.63
Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
