Environmental Coordinator


The City of Kelowna is looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join our Development Planning Team in reviewing and approving development applications. The position will be responsible for coordinating environmental policies and regulations, including assessment and technical analysis related to the Official Community Plan, sub-area plans (e.g. neighbourhood plans sector plans), regulatory bylaws (zoning bylaw and subdivision and development servicing bylaw) and applying relevant provincial regulations.  The position will also help in advancing environmental policy direction and development at the City.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a Diploma in Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management or Environmental Planning and prior experience in environmental management as it relates to land use planning.
