The District of Sechelt (the “District”) is requesting proposals for the 2022 Road Paving Program.
2022 Road Paving Project
- Norwest Bay, Highway 101 to Derby Road
- Curb reveal 60mm milling;
- Apply 10mm level course;
- Spread glass grid as specified in supplementary specifications;
- 50mm MMCD upper course #1;
- Mason Road Paving, Reeves Road to Norwest Bay
- 175mm mill and spread on shoulder;
- Compact subgrade;
- Spread and compact 100mm road base;
- Pave single lift 75mm MMCD upper course #1;
- Spread and compact road shoulder;
- Reef Road, Shoal Way, and Lighthouse Ave
- Sawcut and remove “alligator cracked” asphalt;
- Compact existing road base;
- Spread and compact additional road sub base and base as needed;
- Pave single lift 75mm MMCD upper course #1;
- Spread and compact road shoulder;
- Sechelt Inlet Road
- Sawcut and remove depressed asphalt;
- Excavate, and replace depressed road base;
- Compact subgrade;
- Spread and compact road base;
- Pave single lift 75mm MMCD upper course #1;
- Spread and compact road shoulder.
