Repurpose Care Facility for Social Use
The City of Coquitlam (“City”) envisions a project that innovatively repurposes a former Care Facility to fill a social need such as affordable housing or health care in the Coquitlam community at 560 Sydney Avenue, Coquitlam, BC.
The City is interested in partnering with or authorize one organization to deliver an innovative health care or housing or social programming solution.
The City is requesting Expressions of Interest and ideas from qualified and experienced for-profit and not-for-profit partners for their vision for repurposing the existing City- Owned building located at 560 Sydney Avenue to provide a social benefit to the City.

Non-Mandatory Site Visit
Interested parties are invited to attend a non-mandatory site visit and tour the facility scheduled for:
Date: Monday, June 4, 2018
Time: 10:00 am local time
Location: 560 Sydney Avenue, Coquitlam, BC
Interested parties are to meet with City staff at the front entrance of the facility. Attendees will be provided access to view the current condition and components of the building and surrounding site. It is recommended that respondents attend to familiarize themselves with the facility prior to submitting a response.

The City reserves the right of negotiate concurrently with the highest ranked respondent(s).
Procurement of goods and services are in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the New West partnership Agreement (NWPTA).
