James Ridge Consulting provides a wide range of consulting services to municipalities, non-profits, and higher education. Ares of focus include; IT plans and strategy, external review of major IT projects, long-range staffing plans, organization reviews, service reviews, business planning and prioirity setting.
James is a former CAO (North Vancouver District), Deputy City Manager (Vancouver), City Manager (Burlington, Ontario), and held a number of senior positions in the City of Toronto, including Executive Director of IT and CIO. He has also been Associate Vice President and Registrar at UBC, and Principal of UBC's Vantage College. He holds a BA, MA, and MPA and is a graduate of the Summer Executive Program in Corporate Finance at the London School of Economics.
