About the Opportunity:
The Finance Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Payroll Clerk position. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the incumbent will perform a variety of payroll tasks including payroll entry and processing, the production of reports, forms and remittances, and assistance with year-end procedures.  The individual will also provide excellent customer service to employees by responding to payroll inquiries, and to Township residents by answering general inquiries, accepting payments, and providing property tax information.

Our Preferred Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Certificate as well as a minimum of two years related experience in a municipal or similar environment. Additionally, the preferred candidate will be highly proficient with spreadsheet data manipulation and their customer service focus will contribute positively and effectively within a team environment.
 
Salary: $33.59 – $36.19 hourly plus benefits
Hours per week: 35
