Invitation to Proponents
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Vernon (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of one (1) new or demo Regenerative Air Street Sweeper, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Regenerative Air Street Sweeper will be used by Public Works for cleaning streets within the City of Vernon.
Size and Maneuverability are key considerations for the selection of this equipment, as the unit is required to clean in and around tight curbs and gutters.
The proposed unit must be capable of transport speeds up to a minimum of 80 Kilometers per hour and capable of sweeping operations on steep street inclines of 16% grade without power loss or compromised sweeping function.
