Program Overview
The Connecting British Columbia program is currently accepting applications for funding through successive in-takes. Funds are available to help internet service providers and regional and local governments connect people in rural and Indigenous communities with high-speed internet. The program will invite applications for funding through successive intakes until funds are exhausted.
Eligible applicants for the Connecting British Columbia program include:

  • Local, regional or national internet service providers
  • Local governments as established by British Columbia legislation
  • First Nations or First Nations organizations (i.e. band council or a corporation controlled by a First Nation)
  • Registered not-for-profit organizations, registered and active in B.C.
