Sharing Knowledge and Informing Future Research
We are excited to announce that the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy is hosting a series of roundtables throughout 2022 on the Canadian Northern Corridor Concept (CNC). The roundtables are facilitated by Cascade Projects.
The roundtable event, to be held via Zoom on January 25, 2022, will discuss the feasibility, desirability, and acceptability of a connected series of infrastructure corridors throughout Canada. The roundtable is your opportunity to share your municipality’s concerns, perspectives, and priorities regarding relevant infrastructure-related issues such as regional economic development, social costs and benefits, broadband access and post-Covid recovery.
This roundtable will bring together municipal and regional representatives from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
At the roundtable, we will:
- Collect feedback to help inform the research program and future policy recommendations.
- Share the CNC Research Program’s ongoing research and knowledge on corridor development and infrastructure planning with interested participants.
