Reminder: Municipalities are given professional development vouchers at membership time based on the number of members they had the previous year. These vouchers allow a non-AMA member to attend the Full conference or Pre-conference day at the AMA member rate. Professional Development Voucher:

This year, municipalities were rewarded for the number of employees they have who hold membership with AMANS. Municipalities with:

  • 2-4 AMANS members received 1 Professional Development (PD) voucher for the current 2024 membership year
  • 5-7 AMANS members received 2 PD vouchers for the current 2024 membership year
  • 8+ members received 3 PD vouchers for the current 2024 membership year
These vouchers were provided to CAOs in their membership renewal letter and can be used towards any AMANS Conference, event, or education session. The voucher grants a non-AMAMS member the membership rate for the conference. Please contact Li Yun Zhang [email protected] if you would like to use a voucher for this conference registration fee.

Golf at Fox Harb'r will be available all day on Wednesday, May 22, for those interested in a structured event. We're currently in the process of organizing this event, and further details will be provided shortly.

Gentle Movement with Barb Shaw. (7:00am - 7:45am)
This morning activity will focus on somatic and deep stretching exercises for desk workers - using a chair in the activity, participants will learn to un-lock the areas of tension in the body that develop from sitting or standing at a desk and working on computers for long periods of time. This session will help participants develop 'better relationships' with their chairs! (Free)

Refund Policy
An administration fee of $20.00 for each cancelled registration applies until May 8, 2024. No refunds will be issued after May 8, 2024. Registration transfers are permitted until May 8, 2024. Please request substitutions in writing to: [email protected]. If a delegate has an extenuating circumstance* and is unable to attend the Conference, this request must be made in writing to the Executive Director who reviews it and in turn has the authority to refund up to 50% of the registration at their discretion.

*Extenuating circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis by the AMANS Executive Director. It is the responsibility of the registrant to notify AMANS in writing of any extenuating circumstances which would prohibit attendance. Extenuating circumstances is defined as significant life events, including but not limited to serious illness/injury of self or an immediate family member, death of a close family member, or victim of a crime.
