Reminder: Municipalities are given professional development vouchers at membership time based on the number of members they had the previous year. These vouchers allow a non-AMA member to attend at the AMA member rate. If you have a voucher you would like to use, enter the code at the bottom on this registration. Professional Development Voucher:

This year, municipalities were rewarded for the number of employees they have who hold membership with the AMA. Municipalities with:
  • 2-4 AMA members received 1 Professional Development (PD) voucher for the current membership year
  • 5-7 AMA members received 2 PD vouchers for the current membership year
  • 8+ members received 3 PD vouchers for the current membership year
These vouchers were provided to CAOs in their membership renewal letter and can be used towards any AMA Conference, event, or education session.
These vouchers grant a non-AMA member the membership rate for the conference. Please contact Rebecca Kolstee [email protected] if you have a voucher to use.

Pre-Conference, Professional Development Workshops
This year, our Spring Conference is going to be offering Training Workshops on various topics. Please note that delegates will only be able to participate in one of these sessions as they all take place at the same time.
*CAO Forum (4:30 - 6:30pm)
This session is an opportunity for CAOs of each municipality to get together, have candid conversations, and strategize about the issues impacting them, their municipality, and their regions. Light snacks will be provided.

Refund Policy
  • An administration fee of $20.00 for each cancelled registration applies until May 31, 2023. No refunds will be issued after May 31, 2023.
  • Registrations transfers are permitted until June 14, 2023. Please request substitutions in writing to: [email protected]
  • If a delegate has an extenuating circumstance* and is unable to attend the Conference, this request must be made in writing to the Executive Director who reviews it and in turn has the authority to refund up to 50% of the registration at their discretion.
*Extenuating circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis by the AMANS Executive Director. It is the responsibility of the registrant to notify AMANS in writing of any extenuating circumstances which would prohibit attendance. Extenuating circumstances is defined as significant life events, including but not limited to serious illness/injury of self or an immediate family member, death of a close family member, or victim of a crime.
