Meals and Social Events included in your Registration
  • A Welcome Reception will be held on Wednesday evening October 16th. This is a casual event with a buffet dinner and Host Bar included
  • Dinner, Host Bar and Entertainment on Thursday evening October 17th
  • Breakfasts on the mornings of October 17th and October 18th
  • Delegate Luncheon on October 17th
  • Several networking events and the Hospitality Suite that are also incorporated within the program
Note: Tickets for Meals and Social Events are Non Transferable

Refund Policy: $75 administrative charge for cancellations up to and including Monday October 7th.  No refunds for cancellations after Monday October 7th.

The "SheAO Symposium"

A forum to reaffirm and inspire women in municipal administrative leadership positions

This event is for, about and attended by female CAOs/Aspiring CAOs. A Roundtable for female CAOs/Aspiring CAOs to discuss job ABC's - attitudes and acceptance, barriers and benefits, challenges and courage.

Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, October 15 and morning of Wednesday October 16 as we come together to support one another through the unique challenges and opportunities we face as women in the municipal sector. Hear stories directly from women who have overcome barriers and risen to rewarding careers as administrative leaders, and come away with tangible strategies to support you in your leadership journey.

Whether you are someone who aspires to become a CAO, or someone who has spent decades in leadership positions, this session is all about coming together to connect, collaborate and thrive as women who build our organizations and communities.

Fee: This is a complimentary event for female members of OMAA. Arrangements have been made for subsidized Hotel room bookings for October 15th. For anyone attending the SheAO event and reserving a room for the evening of October 15th, a credit will be applied to your credit card subsequent to booking resulting in a net charge of $100.

The OMAA Fall Golf Game

Please take note of the modified format for this event. Consider joining in the OMAA Fall Golf Game this year - a specially designed nine hole round of golf. In order to provide a bet fit for busy CAO schedules, the Fall Golf Game will be played on the front nine of the Monterra Golf Course. The course features rolling bent grass fairways, ravines, creeks, lakes, and elevated tee shots in an inspiring mountain setting that makes for memorable rounds. Following the game, there will be time to gather for the traditional 19th hole game analysis, and to freshen up in time for the 5:30 Feature Speakers

Not a Golfer? Arrive Early to Enjoy the CAO Conversation Café

Arrive early to register, reconnoitre and reconnect! The “CAO Conversation Café” is a casual zone to be established in the heart of the Workshop venue for attendees to linkup with old colleagues and to meet new ones. Refreshments will be served and entertainment will be provided in this new feature area of the Workshop.

The Chocolate Sculpture Contest

Sign up for this team contest that will take place on Thursday evening of the Workshop. Contribute your structural and artistic skills as you compete against your colleagues to create a chocolate sculpture worthy of being judged in this delicious competition.
