Our Parks team maintains Kelowna’s City Parks, gardens, sports fields, nursery facilities and a range of natural green spaces.  Bring your creativity and innovation to a diverse team and help enhance Kelowna’s attractiveness using your related experience including pest management, turf grass management, irrigations systems, horticultural propagation, arboriculture and your Diploma in Horticulture.  This role specifically provides support to our Integrated Pest Management program. 

Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary horticulture education, with preference given to those with a Horticultural Certificate or Diploma
  • Related experience with integrated pest management
  • Ability and willingness to achieve a Pesticide Applicators Certificate
  • People Management, Creativity, and Service Excellence
  • BC Driver’s license Class 5 and ability to pass and maintain a Criminal Record Check
