We are looking for reliable and professional Aquatic Fitness Leaders to join us at all of Delta’s Recreation Facilities in the following capacities:
- Shallow Water Aquafit
- Deep Water Aquafit
- Low Impact Aquafit
- Gentle Fit
- Aqua Mat
- Aquatic Personal Trainers
Candidates must possess current BCRPA registration or equivalent (CALA certification and registration will be accepted for Aquatic Instructors) in addition to current First Aid and CPR certifications. Candidates are required to be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends. Additional training or certification in Older Adult, Osteofit, Pre-Post Natal, Aqua Mat, and Adaptive Fitness is an asset. Candidates will be required to demonstrate skills as part of the screening process.
Delta prides itself on providing and encouraging continuing education of staff, and provides in-service credit hours that go towards fitness leadership renewal.
