Customer Service - Recreation

Up to three Auxiliary Relief Positions

Under the general direction of the Administrative Supervisor, the Customer Service - Recreation position involves extensive contact with the public, takes payment for all recreation programs and services and operates a multiple line switchboard.  In addition to providing excellent customer service, suitable applicants must have working knowledge of standard office methods and procedures concerning the receiving and recording of monies and have the ability to make simple arithmetic computations accurately with reasonable speed. 

Requirements include: completion of Grade 10 or equivalent; three months experience on office machines such as POS terminal, calculator, computer and including working in a customer service capacity; basic keyboarding skills and a satisfactory police information check. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This is casual, on-call work involving various shifts including evenings, weekends and nights to provide relief for sick leave and vacation coverage of regular staff.

This is a C.U.P.E.
