As part of a team dedicated to service excellence, this senior local government position provides handson professional services and leadership for the CRD within the Human Resources and Organizational Development service area.
The Manager, HR Systems and Alignment is a strategic partner in the HR team, leading and ensuring that all HR processes, systems, and support activities are aligned to corporate needs and direction in delivering value added HR services. The Manager is the primary HRIS contact and is responsible for HR system data integrity and reporting, provides expertise in human resource information management as the HRIS administrator, ensures activities and process of HR administration are aligned to corporate requirements, and provides leadership, advice and support to team members. This position is responsible for managing, understanding and leveraging HR data and management systems to enhance operational effectiveness, developing standard/customized evaluation systems and performance measures and ensuring effective decision-making, while also supporting employee engagement initiatives. The Manager also provides a variety of HR Generalist functions related to the delivery of the full breadth of HR services.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Degree in a related field and significant relevant professional human resources experience, preferably in a unionized environment, including experience working with HRI Systems. A Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is a definite asset.
Salary range is $81,770 - $96,200 annually (quoted in 2018 rates), plus a comprehensive benefits package. This position is excluded from union membership.
