Clerk 3/ Court Liaison

The City of Coquitlam is currently recruiting for a Regular Part-Time Clerk 3/Court Liaison. This is a civilian support position working at the Coquitlam R.C.M.P. Detachment within the Records Section. In this fast paced detail-oriented position, the incumbent will be responsible for processing, coordinating, and the quality control of court documents submitted to Crown Counsel and the Court Registry.
Along with possessing grade 12, you will have obtained relevant post-secondary courses and considerable related work experience within a policing environment or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. The successful applicant must have thorough knowledge of R.C.M.P. law enforcement practices and of the departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures coupled with the Federal and Provincial statutes and Municipal bylaws. Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM, a valid B.C. Driver’s license and access to a vehicle during work hours is required.
You must be able to obtain and maintain an Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance. The rate of pay for this CUPE position is $26.91 - $31.62 (2018 rates).
