The Water Operations Manager is responsible for management of the City’s water utility including domestic and irrigation water supply and ensuring operations are in compliance with, municipal, provincial and federal regulatory requirements. 

You are an accountable, passionate leader that works collaboratively with people to build trust and strong internal and external relationships and teams that are committed to continuous improvements in service, quality and health and safety. With, excellent communications, planning, people and project management skills and a proven ability to respond to: staff and customer concerns, new challenges and lead innovation to achieve organizational objectives.   

Qualifications include a Degree in Engineering, Science or relevant/related degree with a minimum of three year’s leadership/management experience in drinking water operations and service and registration or eligibility to be registered with APEGBC as a Professional Engineer.
