The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is the regional government serving the approximate 30,000 residents of the Sunshine Coast. Bordered by rugged mountains on one side and the Georgia Strait on the other, the Sunshine Coast is situated on a peninsula between Howe Sound and Jervis Inlet in the traditional territory of the Sechelt and Squamish First Nations. The Sunshine Coast Regional District is currently inviting applications for the position of Finance Clerk (Full-time). Under the general supervision of the Manager, Financial Services performs high volume data entry and processing of accounting transactions. Work is performed in accordance with standard accounting procedures and corporate policies /procedures.
This is a bargaining unit position with a wage rate of $25.97 per hour and includes a full benefit package upon the successful completion of a four month probationary period with the SCRD.
