The City of Port Coquitlam is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in the full time opportunity of Civil Engineering Technologist to join the Infrastructure Planning Division.  The Infrastructure Planning Division is responsible for monitoring, managing, planning and improving the City’s infrastructure systems (water, sewer, drainage, roads).

The pre-qualifications for this position include:
  • Graduation from an Institute of Technology with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.  
  • Utility modeling and municipal engineering experience in areas such as streets, drainage, sanitary sewer works, and water works engineering is considered an asset.  
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (ASTT) of BC as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT).   
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.  The biweekly salary for this position starts at $2,676.15 and includes a comprehensive benefit package upon successful completion of a fourmonth probationary period.
