The District of West Vancouver Community Services Department is accepting applications for Music Instructors to teach the following programs during the Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 seasons at the West Vancouver Community Centre and the Gleneagles Community Centre:
Drum Lessons – Wednesday & Thursday evenings at the West Vancouver Community Centre Flute Lessons – Saturdays at the West Vancouver Community Centre
Guitar Lessons – Monday evenings at the Gleneagles Community Centre
Piano Lessons - Wednesday evenings & Saturdays at the West Vancouver Community Centre / Tuesday evenings at the Gleneagles Community Centre
Violin Lessons – Friday evenings at the West Vancouver Community Centre / Tuesday evenings at the Gleneagles Community Centre
The successful candidates will have professional training in music, substantial experience as instructors with their respective instruments, knowledge of community recreation philosophies and instruction techniques, and experience working with children and adults. Desirable qualifications include a university degree in music or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
All applicants must provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae (resume), and a sample lesson plan for each class or program to be taught.
The successful candidate is required to supply a criminal record check and a copy of their credentials.

Rate of Pay: $30-$40 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits, based on experience and training
