Child and Youth Workers

We are seeking Recreation Workers to perform front-line recreation work in our community with special interest and experience with children, youth and/or adults.

These positions are responsible for and/or provide assistance in planning and implementing recreation programs for all ages. The successful applicants will have knowledge of the fundamentals of program leadership and experience in instruction of a wide variety of programs for all ages, including children and youth. Individuals will facilitate and/or support drop-in & sports programs, camps, afterschool programs, wellness and physical literacy, outdoor activities, special events, youth mentorship and/or youth centre programs and volunteer development.

The successful candidates will have completed grade 12 supplemented by courses related to the work, plus experience; or an equivalent combination of training experience. You must be willing to work various shifts, Monday through Sunday, 5:45am – 10:15pm as scheduled.
Child and Youth Worker - $19.18 (+ 10% in lieu following 15 days worked)
