The IT Help Desk is the first point of contact for the City’s internal staff to report computer and telecom issues.
The Service Desk Specialist is part of the IT Help Desk team and supports the organization by listening to, interpreting, troubleshooting and resolving requests for technical assistance, while providing high quality customer service.
Required Education & Experience:
Completion of one year post-secondary education from a technical institution, related to Information Technology or Computer Science/Systems, plus a minimum one year of experience in a similar technical support position or help desk operation. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
