Manages the work of staff engaged in the provision of bus services, for a 24/7 operation. Manages, plans, develops, implements and evaluates strategies for the provision of Fleet Bus Services Support in the cleaning, servicing, dispatching and refuelling of vehicles, to meet organizational goals and objectives, including the management of maintenance support program.
Education and Experience: Completion of a Management Diploma Program. Consideration will be given to applicants that have successfully completed a supervisory program which includes courses in labour relations, conflict resolution, supervisory techniques and management principles.
Six (6) years’ experience in progressively responsible positions which include supervisory experience in a commercial vehicle servicing or operational capacity where strong skills in supervising and communication have been developed. Requires flexibility, good judgement and organizational skills to be able to assign vehicles to daily runs and to reschedule to meet requirements caused by unforeseen circumstances.

- Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
- Solid leadership, development and team building skills to provide direction and manage reporting managers.
- Solid computer skills in standard office tools including word processing and spreadsheet software and use of web-based systems.
- Formal training in business principles and industrial processes would also be an asset.
Other Information Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection
process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
37.5 Hours per Week
$85,068 to $106,335 per annum ($43.48 to $54.34 per hour)
