Contribute to the community and our vision to be the best mid-sized city in North America by joining the City as a Communications Consultant. The Communications team delivers a full range of initiatives to support the City’s focus on customer service, community and business engagement.
We are seeking an experienced communications professional who thinks strategically, writes proficiently and develops strong working relationships. As a member of our corporate communications team, you will write content for web and internal publications, and provide strategic advice to internal clients about communication needs. The flexibility to balance priorities and multiple projects is also essential.
The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in communications/public relations or journalism, along with experience in corporate communications.
We offer career and professional development, progressive employment practices and a great work environment.  This is an exempt position that offers a starting salary range of $62,000 to $72,000 per year,
plus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation, and statutory holidays.
