As a City employee working with the RCMP, you will use your strong keyboarding, English language and customer service skills to verify and maintain information in the Police Records Information Management Environment (PRIME) and the Police Information Retrieval System (PIRS). In addition, you will prepare, process and maintain a variety of records, reports and related material as well as provide information regarding file content to internal and external contacts.
PRIME and PIRS training and experience are preferred. You will be required to obtain and maintain a RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance.
Additional Information: 24 hour rotating shift work, 7 days per week. Alpha-numeric data entry speed of 6000 keystroke per hour with an 80% accuracy rate is required, plus sound knowledge of the methods, practices, and procedures used in operating PRIME computer system.
A CUPE hourly rate of $24.81 to $29.16 plus a 12% in lieu of benefits is offered.
