Human Resources Associate
The District of Saanich has an opening on our Human Resources Team for an individual with deep Job Evaluation experience and a solid understanding of HR practices. As the JE subject matter expert, you will use your exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to support managers and Job Evaluation committees, ensure accurate and consistent description and assessment of work and working relationships; and manage the JE database.
In addition, you will coordinate the District’s corporate training programs and employee engagement initiatives, and will work with the HR Advisors, participating on selection panels, to foster consistency in hiring practices.
In addition to your two or more years of in-depth experience in Job Evaluation in a unionized environment, preferably in the municipal sector, you have two years post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, preferably Human Resources and a valid BC Driver’s Licence. Familiarity with HRIS databases and functions is considered an asset.
