City of Rossland Website Design
Request for Proposals
The City of Rossland is requesting proposals from experienced website developers to redesign the City’s website (www.rossland.ca) in order to improve its overall look and feel, general functionality and features, update content, and incorporate City-branded guidelines as required.
The current website is outdated, slow and cumbersome for both users and administration, restricts the ability to add new features and causes problems with updating/manage content appropriately. The goal for the City is to have a website with the technology to support online services, provide full-site searchability, facilitate easier content creation and editing, and create an overall inviting and engaging web design interface. In addition to above, there is significant information on the current site that needs to be migrated over while still remaining functionable (GIS Mapping database, current financial and recreational online services, etc.) and as such, the successful Proponent’s ability to convert existing content from the current site is critical and necessary.
The new website must be attractive, intuitive, and accessible for intended audiences and easy to manage for staff. It must also be mobile-friendly.
For further information or questions regarding this opportunity, please visit http://www.rossland.ca/rfp_tenders or contact the undersigned.
