The District of Summerland (the “District”) invites Proposals from Qualified Proponents to submit a Proposal to complete Summerland’s Community and Corporate Climate Action Plans.
The District’s climate action planning project will be completed in line with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Partners for Climate Protection milestone framework in order to reduce both corporate and community-wide greenhouse gas emissions. The project aims to achieve significant emission reductions by providing pragmatic, evidence-based 5-year action plans including both a Community Action Plan and a Corporate Energy and Emissions Plan.
The District of Summerland, is a municipality of approximately 11,600 residents, located in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, between Kelowna and Penticton. Further details about the District can be found at https://www.summerland.ca/
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued electronically through the District of Summerland website at https://www.summerland.ca/business-economy/bid-opportunities where any interested Proponent may download the RFP document. It is solely the responsibility of the proponent to ensure that they have obtained, prior to the closing date and time, any Addenda issued by the District. Any Addenda will be posted on the District’s website and the District assumes no responsibility for notifying any proponents of the existence of Addenda.
