Supply and Install of
Playgrounds - Park Blitz 

The City of Coquitlam (“City”) requests Proposals from professional, experienced qualified companies  for the “Supply and Installation of Playgrounds – Park Blitz” at various Parks within the City as specified in this RFP document.

The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, provision of all labour, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the removal of existing play structures at each of the locations stated within this RFP and design, supply, delivery, and installation of four (4) playgrounds at locations stated within this RFP.

This RFP may be used to establish a preferred Contractor should there be additional similar projects for a period of up to five years.

Printing of RFP documents is the sole responsibility of the Proponents.

Proposals will be received on or before 2:00 pm local time on:

Wednesday, January 16, 2019 (Closing date and time)

Please note that the Purchasing Department will be closed December 24, 2018 to January 1, 2019. Queries will be reviewed after January 1, 2019. City service operations will be in full service.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Proponents in preparing a response.

Proposals will not be opened in public. 

The City reserves the right of negotiate concurrently with the highest ranked proponent(s).

Procurement of goods and services are in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the New West partnership Agreement (NWPTA).
