Following an extensive year long review process, the Local Government Management Association is pleased to announce that the 2007 Edition of the Guide for Approving Officers is now available for purchase.

This is the second major revision to the Guide since it was first published in 1994.  The updates and changes reflect new or amended legislation, court decisions and feedback from Approving Officers who participated in the 2006 Guide for Approving Officers Survey.   

The Guide has been redesigned and is now available in PDF and Microsoft Word files on CD ROM.  The new format will make it feasible to provide future updates of the Guide at regular intervals.
