Five (5) consecutive days

$34.02 per hour in accordance with Article 23.06
$34.84 per hour after successful completion of probationary period

Primary Duties
The Information Systems Technician I assists with the implementation and maintenance of the City’s Information Technology (IT) systems. This position will provide client support, basic training for staff on new software and City systems, and maintain and update the City’s website using content management software and the services of an external vendor. The Information Systems Technician will exercise considerable independent judgment and actions and refers matters of major importance to the Manager of Information Systems.


  • Information systems or Computer Science diploma or degree
  • Possession of a Class 5 BC Drivers License
  • Minimum of three (3) years working in the Information Systems field in a local government setting
