Director of Facilities Planning and Construction

As the Director of Facilities Planning and Construction, your expertise will be invaluable when planning a strategic route to support and achieve District facility development goals. Your innovative approach to leadership is a key navigation tool for guiding the District towards planning, development, and construction of all new buildings and upgrading of existing facilities, and the establishment of a facility asset management program.

Our ideal candidate is hardwired to thrive in a team environment and possesses a Bachelor’s degree and/or advance certification in a construction or capital project management-related field. They will also possess strong skills in leadership, organization, and communication, and have a minimum of ten years of progressive facility planning, development and construction project and facility asset management experience with a minimum of 3 years management experience. Experience in working within local government is an asset.
