About The Opportunity:
As a key member of the management team at the RCMP Detachment, you will provide leadership and supervision to municipal employees who perform a wide range of support services including reception, court liaison, exhibit and property administration, CPIC administration, custody of detainees, police records management and statistical reporting. You will participate in the administration of assigned budgets; take part in the hiring, training and supervision of municipal employees; interpret collective agreements and act as a liaison between the RCMP and various municipal departments. Success demands a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication as well as establishing and maintaining positive, professional working relationships.

About Your Background:
You are a high-energy team player preferably with a degree in Business Administration or a related field and have a minimum of three years’ experience in a police environment as well as a minimum of five years of supervisory experience within a unionized environment. You have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to handle situations with sound judgment and discretion. Strong computer abilities in Windows based environment are also required. Previous experience managing budgets would be beneficial. As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain and maintain a RCMP Reliability Status.
