Applications are invited for the Regular Full-Time position of Bylaw Enforcement Officer in the Administration Department at Langley City. Reporting to the Chief Bylaw Enforcement Officer, this inspectional and regulatory position involves investigation of complaints and enforcement of bylaws and other regulations with tact, impartiality, fairness and sound judgement.

RATE OF PAY:          
Pay Grade 19: $31.22 to $32.84 per hour (2019 C.U.P.E rates)

HOURS OF WORK:   
*
40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
*5 consecutive days per week per Letter of Understanding

The successful candidate must have a valid Class 5 drivers’ licence for the Province of British Columbia.  Grade 12 supplemented by training in bylaw enforcement, and sound experience in inspectional and enforcement work or an equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.
