Environmental and Engineering Services Coordinator


Located in the upper eastern Fraser Valley, the District of Kent offers a rural lifestyle with affordable housing options and easy access to outdoor pursuits. The community is conveniently situated 127 km northeast of Vancouver and 8 km from the resort community of Harrison Hot Springs.  

Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the incumbent in this position performs both office and field assignments related to municipal engineering, environmental projects and fisheries related activities.

A rate of $38.05 is offered during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the 2019 rate is $44.77 per hour.

Qualifications include a post-secondary degree or diploma in environmental studies, engineering, planning or related field; minimum of three years work experience in environmental service/monitoring and project inspection; and registered member of the Association of Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC or the Professional Biologist Association of BC.
