North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. We offer a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly individuals to deliver memorable experiences to our customers.

ABOUT YOU
You are an energetic and highly-motivated individual who is available to instruct one or more of our many fitness programs. You are a team player who is committed to community. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people and instructing in a safe and friendly manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have the BCRPA Group Fitness certification or equivalent and current First Aid & CPR/AED. Consideration will be given to those applying that have specialized training in instructing Zumba, Barre, Yoga, Spin, Aquatics and/or Older Adults. 

Hours vary and instructors should be prepared to work days, evenings and weekends at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position.

HOURLY RATE:
Based on training and experience, plus 4% in lieu of benefits.
