As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide general HR guidance and services to City departments including: recruitment & selection of employees; partnering with managers on employee retention, recognition, performance management and engagement; and ensure compliance with Collective Agreement requirements and other applicable legislation.

You have experience in general HR functions within both a non-union and union environment. A post-secondary degree in HR or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A CPHR designation is an asset. You have strong communication/interpersonal skills, enjoy solving problems with a coaching approach, and focus on customer service. You are detail-oriented and superbly organized.
