RCMP Training Administrator - Field Coach

Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, the RCMP Training Program Administrator is responsible for monitoring progress, performance and compliance of cadets enrolled in RCMP training programs. This position requires an individual possessing strong interpersonal and facilitation skills. 

Responsibilities include:
 
  • Facilitate and coordinate orientations, panel meetings and training sessions.
  • Review and ensure assessments, related documentation and activities are completed and submitted per program requirements.
  • Provide oversight and monitor progress and performance of cadets relative to program expectations.
  • Provide input on selection of coaches for training programs.
  • Keep up to date on current laws and legislation applicable to the work.
  • Act as a resource person to staff and management, attend, represent and participate in meetings and committees.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, documentation and files related to this position.

Qualifications include:
 
  • Have completion of a related post-secondary program
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a policing environment including supervisory experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Obtain and maintain the relevant level of security clearance throughout employment with the Surrey RCMP.
