IT Operations Manager

The City of Victoria is recruiting for a position of IT Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the operation of the city’s corporate network, telecommunications, on-prem / cloud infrastructure, storage, cyber security and the service desk. This is a key position within the city that ensures the efficient and reliable operation of the city’s core technology stack.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for delivering public sector excellence by working collaboratively with City staff at all levels to support improved technology delivery in support of business change management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Chief Information Officer and IT Leadership Team to develop and deliver short and long-term strategic goals for effective implementation of technology solutions. This position is also expected to identify new and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
