You will lead the organization in supporting the City’s focus on people through comprehensive human resources services: recruitment, employee/labour relations, job evaluation, policy and procedure, change management, team building, training, succession planning, and strategic advice on human resources.

You have excellent communication/interpersonal skills and are adept in conflict resolution with a coahing approach, a critical thinker & decision maker, highly organized, and customer service focused. You will lead an amazing and productive team that deals with critical employee and management issues - your outstanding abilities in team building is a must.

You have considerable work experience in HR leadership and management in union/non-union environments. Post-secondary degree in HR, Business or related, and a CPHR designation is an asset. Core competencies: professional credibility, service excellence, problem solving, team building, and innovation.
