This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services team as we strive to deliver service-focused technology initiatives in support of the University’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position provides administrative work in support of the CIO and the functioning of the CIO’s office, at times of a confidential and sensitive nature. An incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for assisting our positive and energetic CIO in organizing the
day to day operation of the office and for exercising considerable initiative and judgment.
Duties include providing communication and arrangements between the CIO’s office and its stakeholders, including both internal and external contacts; supporting the Departmental Divisional Assistant in the preparation and submission of purchase requisitions and other financial data and reports; preparing and producing a wide variety of material to support the IT leadership team and other committees; arranging special events; identifying issues for administrative action and maintaining the CIO’s schedule. The position also provides some support to the seven members of the IT leadership team.
