Aquatic Fitness Instructors
Reporting to the Aquatics Program Coordinator, the ideal candidate is motivated, creative, energetic, and available to teach a variety of Aquatic Fitness classes at various times of the day during the week. Classes include introductory, mild, moderate, and deep water fitness classes, as well as arthritis rehabilitation classes, and general rehabilitation classes. Availability for Monday and Wednesday mornings is desirable.
Required Certifications include:
- Fitness Theory
- BCRPA Aquatic Fitness Module
- Standard First Aid
Additional beneficial training / certifications include:
- BCRPA Third Age
- Adapted Aquatics
Applicants must also have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position and strong communication and interpersonal skills.The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check and a copy of their credentials.

Hours and days of work will vary and may include early mornings, mid mornings, or evenings
Rate of Pay:
$26.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus 4% in lieu of benefits
